Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to meshieldfinancial.com, operated by ME Shield Financial Services, a DBA of ME Shield Group LLC (“ME Shield,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Informational website

Website content is general educational information, not individualized legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, financial, or insurance advice. Information may not reflect every law, carrier rule, fee, deadline, eligibility requirement, or individual circumstance.

2. No professional relationship created online

Visiting the website, using a calculator, sending a message, requesting a quote, or scheduling a consultation does not by itself create an insurance agent-client, tax-preparer-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. A service relationship begins only after we accept the engagement and any required agreement, authorization, application, or payment is completed.

3. Insurance services

Insurance services are offered only where the applicable agent is licensed. ME Shield currently advertises insurance services in Florida, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. Products are subject to carrier availability, underwriting, policy terms, exclusions, limitations, and approval. Website estimates are not binding quotes or guarantees of coverage or premium. Only official carrier and policy documents determine coverage.

4. Tax preparation

Tax preparation depends on complete and accurate client information. The client remains responsible for reviewing the return and confirming its accuracy. An active IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number authorizes a paid preparer to prepare federal tax returns; a PTIN alone is not a professional license or a promise of representation rights before the IRS. We do not guarantee a refund amount, tax savings, processing time, or absence of an audit or government notice.

5. Immigration forms assistance

ME Shield is not a law firm. We are not immigration attorneys and do not provide legal advice, select legal strategies, determine eligibility, represent clients in legal proceedings, or guarantee government approval. The service is limited to nonlegal document preparation and administrative assistance based on client-provided information. Clients with legal questions or complex circumstances should consult a qualified immigration attorney or accredited representative.

6. Business filing assistance

ME Shield provides clerical and administrative business-filing assistance, subject to the laws and limitations of the state where a filing is made. Services may include transferring client-provided information to government forms, submitting authorized filings, assisting with EIN applications, and providing publicly available procedural information.

ME Shield is not a law firm or accounting firm. We do not select or recommend a legal entity, determine whether a client should form a particular entity, provide individualized legal or tax-structuring advice, interpret the legal effect of a filing, or draft or customize legal agreements. Clients are responsible for their entity and filing instructions and should consult an appropriately qualified attorney, CPA, enrolled agent, or other adviser when professional judgment is needed.

Administrative filing assistance may be offered nationwide where permitted, but a service may be unavailable or limited because state requirements differ. Government acceptance, liability protection, tax treatment, financing, profitability, and other business outcomes are not guaranteed.

7. Infinite Banking educational content

Infinite Banking content is educational and concerns the potential use of specially designed whole life insurance. It is not investment, tax, legal, or individualized financial advice and is not suitable for everyone. Policy performance, premiums, cash value, loans, interest, dividends, surrender values, lapse risk, tax treatment, and benefits depend on the issued policy and individual circumstances. Dividends are not guaranteed. Policy loans accrue interest and may reduce cash value and death benefits. Only official carrier-approved illustrations and policy documents describe guaranteed and nonguaranteed values.

8. Calculators and estimates

Website calculators provide preliminary educational estimates only. They are not binding quotes, policy illustrations, tax calculations, government-fee confirmations, coverage determinations, or professional recommendations.

9. Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate, current, and complete information; review documents before signing or submission; meet applicable deadlines; promptly report errors or changes; and use the identified secure method for sensitive documents. We are not responsible for consequences caused by inaccurate, incomplete, late, or withheld client information.

10. Fees, cancellation, and refunds

Insurance consultations, Infinite Banking education consultations, and initial consultations for other services are free. Insurance premiums are paid to the carrier; ME Shield does not invoice clients for insurance consultations. For paid administrative services, the displayed ME Shield price includes the disclosed 4% operating and payment-cost adjustment. Government and third-party charges remain separate and are not marked up.

• A client who cancels before work begins may receive a refund of service fees paid, excluding disclosed third-party charges that cannot be recovered.
• After work begins, ME Shield may retain the portion reasonably attributable to completed work and will refund any remaining unearned portion.
• Government filing fees, carrier charges, medical exams, certification, notarization, shipping, and other third-party costs are nonrefundable once incurred or submitted.
• No refund is due after the requested return, application, filing, or completed deliverable has been submitted or delivered, except when required by law or a separate written agreement.
• If ME Shield makes a clerical error within the agreed scope, we will make reasonable efforts to correct it without an additional service fee.

Tax preparation

A tax-preparation engagement may be canceled in writing before the return is filed. Before work begins, ME Shield service fees are refundable, less authorized nonrecoverable third-party costs. After work begins, the portion earned for document review, preparation, research, or completed forms is nonrefundable; any unearned balance will be returned. No refund is based on the amount or timing of a tax refund, an IRS or state decision, an audit, or a notice outside ME Shield’s control.

Business filing assistance

A business-filing engagement may be canceled in writing before submission. Once a filing is submitted, it cannot be canceled through ME Shield. Preparation fees become nonrefundable as work is completed. State, county, publication, registered-agent, certification, and other third-party fees are separate and nonrefundable once paid or incurred. ME Shield does not guarantee government acceptance, processing time, legal effect, tax treatment, financing, or business outcome.

Immigration form preparation assistance

An immigration document-assistance engagement may be canceled in writing before forms are delivered or submitted. Before clerical work begins, ME Shield service fees are refundable, less authorized nonrecoverable third-party costs. Fees for clerical work already completed are nonrefundable. USCIS, medical, translation, certification, notarization, and other third-party charges are separate and nonrefundable once paid or incurred. ME Shield does not provide legal advice or representation and does not guarantee eligibility, processing time, interview outcome, or government approval.

Written refund requests are reviewed within 10 business days. Appointments may be rescheduled without charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may require a new deposit. These terms are subject to any signed service agreement and rights that cannot legally be waived.

11. Communications

With appropriate consent, we may communicate by telephone, email, text, video call, or WhatsApp. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase and may be withdrawn. Do not send sensitive records through the general contact form, chatbot, ordinary text, or unsecured email unless specifically instructed.

12. Client Portal and electronic signatures

You are responsible for protecting access to your email account, devices, and Client Portal sign-in links, and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. You may not share a portal session, attempt to access another person’s record, upload malicious or unlawful material, or interfere with portal security. We may suspend portal access when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect information, or maintain the service.

When you select an electronic-signature option and submit it, you agree that the electronic signature and related electronic record may be used in place of a handwritten signature to the extent permitted by law. You may request a paper or other reasonable signing alternative before submission. If you voluntarily allow device location access, location information may be recorded with the signature; declining location access does not by itself prevent you from signing.

13. Testimonials

Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee another client’s result. Testimonials are used for marketing only with appropriate authorization and may be corrected or edited for length without materially changing their meaning.

14. Intellectual property and licensed materials

Original website text, branding, graphics, calculators, layout, and other materials created by ME Shield are owned by ME Shield Group LLC. Certain photographs, icons, fonts, graphics, or other materials may be owned by third parties and used under an applicable license or permission; ownership remains with their respective owners.

You may view or print website materials for personal, noncommercial use but may not reproduce, sell, republish, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit them without appropriate permission from ME Shield or the applicable rights holder.

15. Acceptable use

You may not use the website unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation or security, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, or submit information you lack authority to provide.

16. Third-party services and links

Third-party links and platforms are provided for convenience. We do not control their availability, accuracy, security, terms, or privacy practices. Their own terms may apply.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or current. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ME Shield Group LLC and its representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this informational website. This provision does not override responsibilities established in a signed service agreement, issued insurance policy, or applicable law.

19. Informal dispute resolution and governing law

Before filing a lawsuit relating to these Terms or use of the website, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. Written notice must describe the dispute and requested resolution. The parties will have 30 days after receipt to attempt resolution.

If unresolved, either party may pursue an available claim in a court with appropriate jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by Florida law. To the extent permitted by law, proceedings relating to these Terms or website use shall be brought in the state or federal courts serving Orange County, Florida. Either party may bring an eligible matter in small claims court. Nothing prevents emergency injunctive relief or exercise of a right that cannot legally be waived.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
